It’s SO important to have a good mindset and understanding of work/life balance when creating a successful career and life for yourself. This is something I’m extremely passionate about because I did get burnt out and had to reevaluate so I could get myself back to where I was excited about life and loving photography. I want to be truthful and realistic about each part of my journey which is why it’s important to share this. ◡̈

This one is pretty self explanatory for what’s included. ◡̈ It’s super helpful to have guidance on what gear should be used in a world full of cameras and lenses. It also helps to know what your settings should be for different lighting situations. This is similar to editing in the way it feels like there’s a lot to know, so I want to help you understand that isn’t the case and I want you to feel confident because this is the last thing you want to worry about at a shoot when you’re already trying to think of hundreds of poses ;) Allow yourself to be in the moment with your clients and have a full understanding of what parts of your camera do what!

Editing can be frustrating, right? It feels like there is a mountain of information you need to learn before you can edit well. That simply isn’t true. And while I still have moments where I don’t love my editing or where I compare my work to others (who doesn’t?!), it’s incredibly helpful to know HOW each part of editing works so I can get out of my own head.

Weddings feel scary, I know. The night before seems to come with the anxiety of wanting things to be perfect for your client. I want to help you understand how helpful it is to be the relaxed but helpful photographer for them. The one who can capture the art of their love while also staying positive and level headed for when things get stressful for the bride or anyone in the bridal party.

In this section you’ll learn about all things weddings and follow along as I photograph a full Malibu wedding.

I can tell you how you should run things but for you to actually see me doing it is so helpful for learning. I learned how to master weddings by being a second shooter and it helped me SO much! I’m a firm believer.

Content days are one of the best parts of my career to be honest! Seeing your vision come to life and seeing how excited the attendees are about what you’ve created for them to photograph.. no words. It’s so special.

Who has already watched my posing course?? ◡̈ I hope those of you who did loved it! I wanted to add a portion where I pose in studio! This is a couple session and you follow along while I pose and interact with the couple. Studio sessions are becoming more and more popular so it’s always helpful to know how to navigate posing without being in a bigger outdoor space. In studios, you’re much more focused on posing rather than moving from spot to spot. You also get to see how the images turn out as we’re going through different poses.
